Join Virginia for this introduction to Ayurveda, a holistic system using food, massage, cleansing herbs and daily routines to manage our unique human constitution.

This morning workshop will answer questions about this ancient health system, giving you practical tools and tips to manage your health, staying healthy and happy on a day to day basis. Ayurveda uses a system of ‘doshas’ or constitutional types, we will explore all of these and find out how to manage our own unique type.

What will I learn?

This morning workshop will be fun and interactive! You will come away with an understanding of  find out what is helpful for your own physical and mental health, as well as understanding how we can learn to rebalance ourselves when things aren’t going so well.

The workshop will include:

  • What is Ayurveda and how does it work?
  • Ayurvedic lifestyle tools, including routine, food, herbs and cleansing
  • How can I use this approach to help maintain my own health and wellness?
  • Practical tips for adapting to ordinary daily life
  • Individual focus on the different constitutions (doshas) and physical health
  • Mental health from an Ayurvedic perspective
  • Bodymind connection
  • Spring cleansing
