This retreat is available Monday – Friday and can be from 3 -5 days duration. This whole experience is tailor made for your individual requirements using authentic Ayurveda and Yoga practices. You are encouraged to rest, self care, be quiet and spend time reflecting and reading. Virginia will be with you throughout each day of the retreat.

Below is a typical schedule for this retreat. This may be adapted according to your individual requirements. Virginia will be available for you every day until supper time.
630am – Wake up, practise morning routine and hot drink.
7 – 830am Morning Yoga practice.
830am Breakfast of fruit or mixed grains porridge or muesli with nuts, seeds and Dartmoor honey.
1030am Ayurvedic bodywork treatment, massage and bespoke treatments. More details on treatments are HERE.
1pm Lunch of locally sourced organic vegetables and grains, lovingly prepared and tailored to your individual requirements.
2 – 4pm Free time to rest, read, relax or time for a Dartmoor walk, extra treatment, sound healing, cookery (extra cost)
4 – 5pm Pranayama (breathwork) and meditation or Yoga Nidra.
6pm Supper of soup and home made bread.
8pm Night time drink of golden (turmeric and spices) milk or herbal tea.
930pm (latest) – Bed time.
Note – Herbal teas are available in the cabin kitchen for you to enjoy throughout. Food is plentiful, you will not go hungry.

This individual retreat is located at The Hands on Retreat in South Devon, UK. This area is peaceful and secluded, with Dartmoor National Park on the doorstep there is ample space to gently explore and to rest undisturbed.
The nearby towns of Totnes, Ashburton and Buckfastleigh are known for having holistic approaches to health as well as bespoke shops and a focus on the local economy. This area has an abundance of organic and natural food production, which you will enjoy in your meals and cookery session (optional).
Guest accommodation is in a beautiful secluded wood cabin which has its own bathroom, wood burner and kitchen area. Treatments take place in the main retreat building.

Totnes and Newton Abbot train stations are well connected and are a 20 minute drive away. Exeter airport is just over 20 miles away. Collection is possible by prior arrangement.

These practices of Yoga Nidra (meaning Yoga sleep) give us deep rest, time to just be, to absorb and benefit from the moon cycle energies as they shift and change.
In this circle space all women are goddesses. We will explore what this means for us individually and collectively as we share and support one another throughout this half day journey. Practices will include feminine movement, deep restful Yoga Nidra, Mudra and Mantra.
