Lemon Ginger Tea
This super simple tea not only helps to keep the respiratory system healthy, it also aids digestion and flushes the liver, epecially first thing in the morning. You will feel the ginger is super warming for the body and it improves circulation too.
1 lemon, juice and chop into pieces
1 inch fresh ginger root, grated
Add the ginger and lemon to a pan with 500ml water.
Simmer for 20 minutes.
Strain and serve.
Lovely with a little honey stirred in at the last minute (do not cook or heat the honey). It’s quite potent.
